As far as crocheted baby blankets go, this one is a fast and easy project. It took me 2 days (8 hours/day) to make this blanket. If you're a beginner it will probably take you longer than that; also allow more time to make the larger sizes.
This blanket is crocheted using 16 granny square motifs, and then attach the motifs to form a big square to continue crocheting the borders/edging of the blanket. When you are satisfied that the baby blanket is the length you want it
to be, cut the yarn leaving an extra long length of yarn. Thread your tapestry needle using this end of yarn
and use the needle to weave the loose end of yarn into the blanket.
It's made using 4 yarn colors and a 5 mm hook size, which gives added drape
to the blanket. This blanket pattern is easy enough for beginners, but I recommend this pattern to crocheters of all skill levels who want a quick and easy project to work on.
At this moment no written pattern for this blanket, but I will write it down and I might make a video tutorial too, so please keep in touch for more details.
Thank you!
